Barefoot Wine and Surfrider Team up to make beaches "barefoot friendly"!

Written by suncoast | Jan 2, 2009 12:00:00 AM

By 11 am on [DATE] the sun was up, 85 degrees was reached, and 212 people had signed-in to help make Upham Beach Barefoot friendly. All of this was in celebration of Surfrider’s 25th Anniversary and to bring recognition to our area. Even Mayor Finnerty came out to help and called us all “family”!!!

All participants received a free t-shirt and free wristband to attend and be slathered with the evening festivities & goodies. We listened to some chill music preformed by Mason Jennings, drank plenty of Barefoot wine & Bubbly, and ate Cha-Cha Coconut’s appetizers until our stomachs were full! What a way to end an awesome summer’s day!

Thank You to Barefoot Wine, Mason Jennings, Hunter PR, Cha-Cha Coconuts, Mayor Finnerty, Commissioner Jim Parent, Publix, and ALL the volunteers!

John and Stacy McMahan walked away with this surfboard! Photos by Jake are here.
