Please tell Congress to support the National Endowment for the Oceans Act. Senate Bill 3641 would fund activities to conserve and restore the ocean (including the Gulf of Mexico) and also support scientific research that creates jobs in coastal communities.
Our oceans need a dedicated funding source that includes support for regional, state, local, academic, and non-profit efforts. The National Endowment for the Oceans Act would be paid for by offshore energy revenues that are currently collected today, and would not authorize any new drilling activities. Furthermore, the bill would not raise costs or taxes for Americans.
Please make your voice heard and tell you Senator that you support funding to protect and restore our ocean ecosystems!
